ESI's SkyLOCK becomes NIST Certified

Encryption Solutions Inc., (ESI) has been awarded the FIPS 140-2, level 2 certification for its security software module, SkyLOCK™. This certificate is awarded through the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the Communications Security Establishment (CSE) for the Canadian government. NIST and CSE work together with industry to set security standards for software, hardware and develop tools for use in businesses or government.

ESI's encryption technology SkyLOCK™ uses a unique multi-level process and proprietary algorithm to secure data at rest or in transmission, end to end. SkyLOCK At-Rest™ was released in 2006, and version 2.2 released in February 2007. ESI will be launching its electronic file transfer product, SkyLOCK eFT™ in May 2007 and other products including email and streaming video are scheduled to be out by July. ESI is a software developer specializing in highly secure, easy to install encryption solutions. ESI filed for US patent protection for its algorithm and two processes in January 2004. These patents are pending. In July 2006, ESI filed for foreign patent protection in thirty two countries.
